I think you can get the gist of what we're doing here. Downtown San Diego is my home, I grew up there. I was a child elsewhere but my real maturity started occuring in that urban setting. Small town urban, but still with the dangers that keep you aware. The real estate boom was very predictable though as it started to really get going I was too busy with a publishing project to take the time and really make money in the commercial real estate or sell a bunch of downtown condo game. The condos developers ran amok and the arts had to step to the side as the bulldozers scraped away the communal dwellings, spontaneous galleries, and hidden away studios. Then the cranes migrated to downtown San Diego and set down the condos.
